Another way or a Domestic violence can best help a victim escape an abusive relationship is to make the community be more aware therefore teaching a curriculum for students in middle and high school, designed to teach them how to escape an abusive relationship.
- Roughly 1.5 million high school boys and girls in the U.S. admit to being intentionally hit or physically harmed in the last year by someone they are romantically involved with.
- One in three adolescents in the U.S. is a victim of physical, sexual, emotional or verbal abuse from a dating partner, a figure that far exceeds rates of other types of youth violence.
- Only 33% of teens who were in a violent relationship ever told anyone about the abuse.

Teens are the most vulnerable to domestic violence, in their case dating violence. Teaching a curriculum for teens in middle and high school is the best why for them to be more aware and how to respond if they are in a situation where they are trying to break free/escape.
